Trust in Luton released the following statement on 25th January 2006
TRUST IN LUTON WELCOME JOHN MOORE AS PRESIDENT
Trust in Luton is delighted to announce that one of Luton Town’s best-loved servants has accepted their invitation to become the Trust’s president.
John Moore, a former player, coach and manager at the club, takes up the honorary position with immediate effect.
It follows weeks of negotiations between John and Kelvin Dunn, the elected fans’ representative on the board of Luton Town FC.
Trust in Luton chair Liam Day said: “We are thrilled that John has agreed to become our president, and we’re looking forward to working with him as well as our patron Joan Bartholomew to further the best interests of the club.”
