Transfer speculation

Clubcall announced that Luton will not be signing Adam Bolder from Derby County as he has penned a new 2 yr contract at Pride Park.

Meanwhile Sky Sports website has linked Luton with Trinidad and Tobago defender Cyd Gray. However, they also state that Cyd has never been to Kenilworth Road. The San Juan Jabloteh player was said to be doing his best to impress Hatters boss Mike Newell but does not suggest how!

Cyd played a part in Trinidad and Tobago's world cup qualifying campaign which saw them qualify in England's group. The defender is said to be currently at training camp for a friendly against Iceland on 28th February. He was previously the subject of an enquiry by Gillingham.

Luton were previously linked with another Trinidad and Tobago player in midfielder Aurtis Whitley, but he elected to trial with Portsmouth and no news has been forthcoming about his progress in that regard, to date.

The closure of the transfer window looms with Luton's only foray into the market securing the services of midfielder David Bell from Rushden and Diamonds.
