Luton sign Alnwick
Luton have today signed 20 yr old Tottenham goalkeeper Ben Alnwick on a three month loan deal.
Alnwick played in Sunderland's Championship winning team 2004-05 before making seven Premiership appearances the following season - including an outing at White Hart Lane. He made a total of 22 first team appearances for Sunderland.
He has been capped by England at Under-17, U18, and U19 level, and was in the Under-21 squad for the Euro qualifier against Moldova.
Tottenham's Sporting Director Damien Comolli said on the Spurs official website:
"We are very pleased to bring another young and talented prospect to the Club. Ben may only be 20 years old but he has significant international and Premiership experience. Ben showed great motivation and desire to join us and I know he is excited to be part of our future."
Ben made six appearances for Tottenham's reserve side after joining in January 2007 and was on the first team bench for the UEFA Cup visit of Braga in March. He is listed as a member of Tottenham's first team squad.

nice to have a promising keeper in the squad though...
As a Spurs fan, living in Luton, I hope he gets a decent run of games under his belt, he's a quality keeper.
