Luton sign Wilson on loan
Luton Town have signed Portsmouth midfielder Marc Wilson on loan. The 20-year-old joins on a short-term loan deal and will go straight into the squad for Saturday's trip to Walsall.
The 6' 1' midfielder played 19 games for Bournemouth on loan last season scoring three times and had a further spell there in September.
Kevin Blackwell told www.lutontown.co.uk:
'He can play in a couple of positions and that is key for me at the moment, I need to get people in who have a few tricks up their sleeves, as opposed to being a specialist in one position.
'He can play wide left, central midfield and he has played centre-half before and that is a great thing for us at the moment.'
The Town manager hinted also that he was trying to bring in a premiership striker on loan in time for the weekend.

good luck to him - im sure he will do well for you lot... he is highly enough rated here that 'arry and co wanted to tie him to a new contract last summer but im not sure how much of a part he will play for us - if any part - in the future? you always hope that the young talent coming through can make an impact and he is still only 20, so im hopeful - but not sure his future will be at pompey tbh?

Are the rumours about Torres going to Luton true ?.. Now wouldn't that be good for ya fellas ... Not sure who the premiership forward could be but if he and Marc Wilson help you pull away from the relegation drop zone that can only be a good thing - Up the Hatters !!
