Marlon - Appeal success!
The FA Disciplinary Committee met this morning to hear Luton's appeal against Marlon Beresford's red card against Preston on Saturday. As I mooted in yesterday's article, the referee was incorrect to law in that an obvious goalscoring opportunity was not prevented by the foul and a penalty kick was the only sanction required.
The Committee has upheld Luton's appeal and Marlon will be available to play tonight against Cardiff City at Kenilworth Road.
Isn't it good to be right!
