'It will not be wholesale changes, but there will be a few. A few of our lads need to get 90 minutes under their belt.

'The likes of Brkovic, Bell and Boyd will come into consideration. Chris Coyne has not had a great deal of football in pre-season, and only played the second half against Norwich, 10 or 15 minutes against Sheffield Wednesday and 90 minutes against Stoke.

'We won't be taking Bristol Rovers lightly and we'll be putting out a team that nobody could call our reserve side. All the players who will play are first team players.

'We had them watched against MK Dons on Saturday and by all accounts they try to pass the ball, which we don't mind because we think that suits us.

'We are under no illusions, there are no easy places to go to. They will be up for it, playing against a Championship side. Bristol Rovers is a big club, they are a sleeping giant and they take their football very seriously over there.

'We would love to win the Carling Cup, we take everything seriously. Even if we make a few changes, it will be because a few of our lads need to play some more games.'

If he has not already left the building, Agogo will be out to prove he can play at Championship level. He has been linked with a host of clubs. Who knows - perhaps Mike may bring him back with the team, for Saturday.

Heikkinen, Underwood,Feeney and Robinson will all be missing, but are all making progress towards recovery.

Will be out to give a performance to get him back in the team.
