After returning to winning ways on Saturday, Luton will want to build on that result and take maximum points. Colchester Meanwhile, having won at Burnley, will be looking to do the same, providing a very interesting battle.
Recent games between these clubs have been quite close. The last time they met both matches were drawn and prior to that Luton won 1-0 at home and dreww 1-1 away and Colchester won 2-1 at Luton and Luton won 5-0 at Colchester, so they are never easy matches to predict!
Mike Newell told www.lutontown.co.uk that there will be no complacency.
'They've (Colchester) had two wins out of two and that will have done them the world of good. They won at Burnley on Saturday and any away win is a good win.
'But we'll have to be very wary of them. The danger is people looking at Luton 7th, and Colchester only just getting of the mark and it should be easy. But there's no such thing.'
Geraint Williams said after Saturday's win at Turf Moor:
'We've proved we can compete in this league and be successful as well.'
Coyne is still unlikely to feature but may be ready for Cardiff at the weekend. Russ Perrett is still sidelined.
Mike Newell said that he doesn't like changing a winning team, and that it is unlikely he will do so on Tuesday.
Unless he has seen something in training to push the case for any squad players featuring on the bench, it looks as though he will stick with the side that beat Palace on Saturday.
He looked good on Saturday without having played with his team mates and he will only get better. I back him to score against Colchester.
Geraint Williams will look to stick with Saturday's team also, but will have to await late fitness tests on Kem Izzett and John White who both sustained knocks at Turf Moor.
Looked useful on Saturday and must not be given space or he will exploit it quickly.
In all matches Luton have won 8, Colchester 4 and 8 have been drawn.
