Another difficult game for the Town; even more so in such a run of bad form. There are no easy games in this league and they need to shake themselves out of the doldrums. With Plymouth only taking 2 points from their last four home games and Luton losing 7 in a row, both teams would like to win but might be happy with a draw.
Mike Newell on www.lutontown.co.uk:
'I look forward to every game, and I'm glad that we've got another game on Tuesday and we haven't got to wait another week for it.
'I don't want encouraging signs, I want results, and we have to stop the rot somewhere along the way.
'It's been a horrible month and everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. Come the January window we would hope we will have some resources to go and add to the squad.'
On Plymouth's official site Ian Holloway was bemoaning Argyle's defeat at home to Leeds on Saturday:
'It is all a bit annoying that we have not won in five games.
'There was not a lot wrong when you watch the video but it is a tad frustrating.
'We need to get back to winning ways, particularly at home. Our record at home has not been good enough.
'I will be the first to hold my hand up to that but there is nothing to say it won't be right by the end of the season. You have to keep believing that.
'I was greatly pleased with an awful lot on Saturday and it was very disappointing to not get what we were working towards.'
Plymouth are likely to choose from an unchanged squad with Buszacy challenging for a return to the team. Youngster Luke Summerfield may also feature
The driving force behind the team currently in good form.
Mike will probably choose from the same squad of players with Dean Kiely keeping his place at the expense of the disgruntled Marlon Beresford. Rowan Vine will start after missing Saturday's defeat at Southampton due to suspension, with Warren Feeney likely to make way. Dean Morgan did his starting chances no harm with a good performance at Southampton and it is not unfeasable that Newell might consider Vine and Morgan as his opening strike partnership.
The only player who seems in top form currently!
